5 Reasons Industrial Buyers Choose CPP® IBC Adaptors

CPP IBC tank adaptor and IBC outlet fitting

Choosing an IBC adaptor is not just about finding two connections that appear to fit. The adaptor has to match the IBC outlet, seal correctly, suit the liquid being handled and work with the rest of the transfer system.

1. Designed around real IBC connections

CPP® designs and manufactures a wide range of polymer IBC fittings in the UK. Our catalogue is organised around actual connection types including S60X6, S100X8, 2″ NPS and 2″ Camlock, together with specialist and legacy connections used on particular IBC and drum systems.

2. A broad range of outlet options

Once the IBC connection is identified, CPP® can convert it to the connection needed by the customer: Camlock, BSPP, BSPT, NPT, hose tail, US garden hose and other industrial formats. Swivel adaptors, short shipping adaptors, reducers, converter systems, valves, lids, vents and replacement seals extend the range further.

3. Defined materials and sealing arrangements

Many CPP® adaptor bodies are moulded in glass-filled polypropylene for strength and chemical resistance. Other ranges use straight natural polypropylene where that material is more appropriate. Seals are specified by product, with PP Olefin Elastomer used across many current IBC and Camlock ranges and other materials, including Viton®, offered where listed.

4. Product-specific technical information

We do not apply one generic pressure claim to every fitting. Working pressure, test pressure, temperature limits, thread standards and installation guidance are stated by product family and connection type. For example, standard S60X6 and S100X8 IBC adaptors are treated as low-pressure IBC fittings, while Regular 8 Camlock couplings use their own size- and temperature-dependent water-service ratings.

5. Technical support for B2B customers

CPP® supplies distributors, OEMs and industrial users, so repeatability and correct identification matter. If a connection is uncertain, photographs and measurements can usually tell us more than a generic “2 inch” description.
