CPP® Type DC (Part DC) Camlock dust caps fit over matching male Camlock adaptors to protect disconnected connections from dust, dirt and debris during storage, transport and handling.

This collection also includes the 2″ lockable Type DCL version, which provides a means of securing the cap in place.

Connection standards

  • Camlock: matching-size male Camlock adaptors manufactured to EN 14420-7 or U.S. specification A-A-59326
  • Thread: none — Type DC and DCL are female Camlock closures

Construction

  • Body: black glass-filled polypropylene (GFPP)
  • Cam arms, rings and pins: 304 stainless steel
  • Camlock gasket: PP Olefin Elastomer

Use and handling

Dust caps are intended to protect a disconnected Camlock connection. They should be used on a depressurised system and should not be treated as pressure-retaining end closures. Release system pressure before removing a dust cap.

Select the cap by the nominal Camlock head size and check the mating dimensions where required.
